Service Committee Meeting Nov. 17 The next Service Committee planning meeting is Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m. We’ll continue to focus on Golf Scramble planning and cover upcoming service events. Professional Development Luncheon Wednesday, Nov. 19 Speaker: Andrea Cambern Andrea is anchor for WBNS-10TV evening news, a five-time Emmy Award winner and an active community member. At work, she’s known for her Commit To Be Fit series aimed to improve the health and well-being of central Ohioans. But she’s also personally dedicated to women's health, specifically her work with breast cancer awareness and the American Heart Association’s "Go Red for Women" campaign.  Join us at our monthly luncheon to learn more about Andrea, why service is important and how she does it all! YWCA Family Center Dinner Monday, Dec. 29 Our service opportunity at YWCA Family Center has been moved to Dec. 29, but we’ll still need about a dozen of you to help out! The YWCA Family Center provides emergency shelter and supportive services and a chance to regroup to up to families in need. On any given day they serve up to 200 people breakfast and dinner and 75-100 people lunch. In its first year, the Center served more than 2,000 people! Now Columbus Rotaract is helping them to meet their goal of obtaining sponsorship for 85 percent of the meals served (they are open 365 days a year, so that’s a lot of food!) Mark your calendar to help our, or purchase a club t-shirt -- $5 from each benefits this project. Now Available: Club T-shirts Cost: $15 $5 from each shirt benefits the YWCA dinner Nov. 30.
