Service Committee Meeting Oct. 21 Help us reach our goal of 15 attendees! Professional Development Luncheon Friday, Oct. 24 Speaker: Alan Mooney With the news of the economy everywhere, it’s hard to understand what’s really going on and what we, as young professionals, should do with our money. Please indicate any special dietary needs in your e-mail. Rotaract partners with YWCA New year, new service, new opportunities to get involved! We’re proud to announce a new service opportunity at YWCA Family Center . The YWCA Family Center provides emergency shelter and supportive services and a chance to regroup to up to families in need. On any given day they serve up to 200 people breakfast and dinner and 75-100 people lunch. In its first year, the Center served more than 2,000 people! Now Columbus Rotaract is helping them to meet their goal of obtaining sponsorship for 85 percent of the meals served (they are open 365 days a year, so that’s a lot of food!) Mark Sunday, Nov. 30 at 5 p.m. on your calendar – we’ll need over a dozen of you to make our meal a success!
